Giada Di Vecchio_BIOGRAPHY
Born in Rome in 1975, she graduated with a Master of Architecture and worked as an Architect for several years in all different stages of construction, from preliminary design to work supervision, specializing on luxury hotels.
In 2012 back to Rome after a significant working experience in Dubai, staring in front of a vitrine of a contemporary jewelry shop, like in front of a stunning artwork, she felt she has to make jewels herself.
After a few months, she was at the bench taking lessons of the basics goldsmithing from a 50 years old experienced goldsmith.
The first collections, mainly inspired by cities and the participation in a contest of high jewelry date back to that time.
From 2012 to 2019 jewelry was mainly a passion alongside her job as Architect.
In 2019 she understood that jewelry was too important in her life that she wanted it to be her work so she quit her job and applied for Alchimia in Florence where she graduated with a Bachelor of Contemporary Jewelry.
She is now starting her path in the field trough designing and realizing collections and participating to jewelry contests. Her collections are playful, light ,always trying to send a positive message.
